STORY:
This one, is part of a collection of medium to large book journals i am making with various ranged themes, the one you are looking at now is Histoire Naturelle Botanical Flora & Fauna Journal - with main colours being beige, brown, multi-colour.
Starting with the cover of a retro book that has been kept with its original cover images but has been distressed, eyeleted for the sari silk ties and faux moss growing around the edges and side
Inside, you will disappear into your botanical herbarium starting with front title page index with listings of your chapter tabs within.
As you journey through you will find an abundance of blank pages to chronicle your finds, add your own dried flora and fauna with details of its origin or medicinal purposes etc. Tags and cards to catalogue each of your findings, lightly touching on entomology (insects) and/or lepidopterology (butterflies/moths) Genuine dried flowers, some from the late 60's/early 70's , dont forget about your specimen flora slides to take back to your laboratory for study.
There is an envelope of specimen tag numbers to continue for your future finds.
You may also touch on your Dendrology (study of trees) , Seedling function ecology (seeds), Vermeology (worms), Herpetology (amphibians) , Mycology (fungi) all ephemera pieces contained within and any other studies you may be practicing.
There is lots of pieces of yarn, threads and vintage lace within. Large assortment of cardstock suited to the theme, not from any one pack.
It is noted the front sari tie colour now on the book differs from the one in the images, same colours, just a different section of sari. Message me for more pictures if needed, price negotiable

It is difficult to put a price on handmade when the labour of love out-ways time spent.
