This event revolves around a discussion on how Canada's Indigenous women entrepreneurs - Angela DeMontigny, Melissa Hardy-Giles and Zaffia Laplante - navigate the challenges and share their accomplishments of building their businesses. Katrin Harry will discuss how a unique curated model of Advanced Business Match applies traditional Indigenous ways of knowing, being and relationship-building into business practices.
The event honours the continued partnership between the Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM) and the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation (MNCFN), and TRSM’s accepted role in the Truth and Reconciliation Committee’s call to action on the need to establish space for Indigenous activities.
