Energy Efficient Lighting... it actually sits under it's own Building Regulation called "Conservation of Fuel and Power: Approved Document L"... and if your lights are hot to the touch then you can be assured that they are wasting energy.. this heat output is quite simply called “wasted energy”… you can replace most older bulbs and spot lights with far more energy efficient lighting nowadays. If you only have a small number of halogen or non efficient bulbs then swapping them over won't make a huge difference to your bill.... but if you have 15+ then it will start to make a difference... not only that but with the huge profits our energy suppliers seem to be making these days we'd all surely rather keep those pennies for ourselves!!
