Just rolling back in from Louisville where we celebrated my aunt’s 80th birthday! My last stop in Mt Vernon. We I think of my Auntie who after her big party got up today drove to go to teach her Sunday school class!
Something about seeing someone at 80 still smiling, still sharp, and still full of purpose reminded me that alignment isn’t just about speed — it’s about longevity.
I had a whole sermon in the car 😂 because driving will preach if you let it:
You can have a full tank, snacks, music, and confidence… but if you’re headed in the wrong direction, you’ll never reach the destination you intended.
Once you set the destination, the GPS doesn’t argue, doubt, or bring up your past — it just routes you. Alignment works the same way.
Delays, detours, slow drivers, and construction zones don’t mean “turn around and go home.” They just mean the route is being adjusted.
The lesson:
Alignment is knowing where you’re going and staying on the road long enough to get there.
