The protagonist of the Pokemon Anime has been a staple of millions of kids childhoods including mine, but there are many dark aspects of the show so easily overlooked. It’s no secret to long time Pokemon fans that there are several inconsistencies and things that defy logic. And while the average viewer may chalk things up to it’s just a cartoon, why stop there when there’s no fun in that? We’re theorists who looks to explain the unexplainable. How does Ash defy the laws of type matchups and win battles, why does no one recognize Ash despite him having so many prestigious accolades, how does Ash survive powerful electric shocks and burns, and most importantly why does Ash never age? This can all be explained very simply, Ash is dead.
