Here's an uncut version of going to the highest lifted point at Stevens Pass, an elevation of around 5,630 feet. A total vertical climb of over 1,600 feet is seen on two lifts. Skyline Express has most of the vertical, climbing a rolling profile of ups and flats, with two big spans just before the top terminal. This lift has Garaventa CTEC Stealth II terminals, with all other technology used. Seventh Heaven climbs 437 feet, a modest one fourth of the total vertical on this journey. It uses Riblet center pole chairs, and had a vault drive, before being later modified with a newer overhead drive by the same manufacturer. I originally tried recording an uncut base to summit vid a month and a half ago, but it was snowing, and the camera was completely covered, and Seventh Heaven had a long line anyway. Today, I had tenth chair on Skyline Express, and I believe second chair on Seventh Heaven. The snow was very much a few inches of powder, covering a layer of ice underneath, which is still enjoyable, but can get rough sometimes.
