A video of our three day 36 mile sea Kayaking trip in the Mani peninsula round cape Tainaron, the southernmost point of mainland Europe in Greece. The trip has stunning views, vertical rockfaces, isolation, exposure and places of historic significance.
This video, starts from Neo Oitylo, down to the famous Dyros cave and to Halikias Mezapos where we camped for the first night.
In the second day we paddled all the way to Gerolimenas with just a short stop on a rocky shore. We spent the second night in Gerolimenas and proceeded the following day, under heavy rain for the final leg of our trip, We did a short stop for snacks in Marmari bay before a short paddle to cape Tainaron, another short stop in the Gates of Hades before concluding our trip in the sheltered bay of Porto Kagio.
