Sourdough Discard Recipe | for your chickens 🐓

Описание: If you have too much sourdough discard and don’t have time to bake with it, I’m sharing another way you can use it. I feed discard to my composting worms, as well and they seem to love it because it becomes vermicast. I love that we can recycle ♻️ the chickens’ egg shells and provide additional vitamins and nutrients with things (like discard) that we already have in our home, to our vermicomposters 🪱 and chickens. 🐓

Sourdough discard is a culture of bacteria and wild yeast, as well as other nutrients that are found in flour.

As always, consult your veterinarian if you’re concerned that this may not be the best choice for your animals.
