STRAUBING. A town with a huge marking place and a south east bavarian feeling. (Bavaria/Germany)

Описание: The trip to Straubing
I went by car to the town Straubing, loceated in the south east part of Bavaria in Germany. I was very surprised about the large parking lot behind the old town. I walked along the large marking place which was structured by a lot of coffe shops and food restaurants, some shops and in the middle part a tower which is more and over one symbol of the town. At next I visitet the old secondary school which is still visitet by pupils in the age between 10 and 18 years. Personally I self haev been at a secondary school. I got very good memories to the time where I´ve been at a school like this. Behind the school was a big water tower. I could see this tower many kilometer far away of Straubing. My next stay was the "Saint Jakobs" Church. This was a typical katholic Church what is happen only the the south east part of Bavaria. The rest of my tour the old distriction court, and the area nect to the Donau river were good pleaces as well. Straubing is also a town where I could spent more days as only one in my opinien.


About Straubing and the river Donau:
The town Straubing loceated in the bavarian district "Niederbayern" near the Bavaria forrest is for many year not only a destination for tourists from Bavaria, Germany and other coutries, the town is popular for its nice loceation on the longest river of Europe the Donau. The town has a population of 120 000, according 2021. Over this, Straubing makes a cooperation with the village "Bogen" also the name of the district "Straubing-Bogen". The places where Straubinb makes popular is the big marking place with the white tower in the center, the huge Saint Jakobs city Church and the water tower next to the old elementary scholl, in german languarge "Realschule". On the outside area a animal park is happen whch is mostly visitet by families with childrens. Straubing is govern long years by the political party CSU, the christ social union and has is proud of its feeling of bavarian home. Famous events at Straubing are the "Gäubodenfest, bavarias second biggest beer event after the Oktoberfest, in August, the Agnes Bernauer festival from end of June to the end of July, the event of the old town in September and the Christkindelsmarkt in December every year. On the river Donau the toursits can make a ship tour to Passau, or the fmous building near Regenburg the Walhalla. A trip to Straubing is retable for everybody.
