Once upon a time, there was a kind man named Abraham.
He loved God very, very much.
God asked Abraham to do something special.
God asked Abraham to take his son, Isaac, to a mountain.
Abraham loved Isaac very much, but he loved God even more.
So, Abraham and Isaac started their journey.
They walked and walked, with a donkey carrying their things.
At last, they came to the mountain.
Isaac carried some wood, and Abraham carried the fire.
Isaac asked, "Father, we have the wood and the fire,
but where is the lamb for our special gift to God?"
Abraham said, "God will give us a lamb, my son."
When they were ready, Abraham heard a voice!
It was an angel from God! The angel said,
"Abraham, stop! Don't hurt Isaac!
Now I know how much you love and trust God."
Abraham looked up and saw a ram caught in the bushes by its horns!
God had provided a lamb, just like Abraham said.
Abraham was so happy!
They all went home feeling joyful.
Abraham learned that God always keeps His promises and takes care of us.
