Today, I'm walking around my neighborhood to find out: how many surveillance cameras are really on a random street in China?
We often hear that China has cameras everywhere—but is that true on a small local street? I walk my dog here every day, but this is the first time I’ve actually counted how many cameras are watching.

My daily walking route in a local Chinese neighborhood

We ended up finding 22 cameras along a 2-kilometer round-trip walk.
