A wee comparison between my recently acquired 2016 Gibson SG Faded and a Murphy Lab '64 SG.
The Gibson Faded was bought with Seymour Duncan High Voltage humbuckers and Gotoh locking tuners at a very nice price and I made a few changes such as re-instating what would have been the original tuners and converting the Nashville bridge to an ABR-1 with a lightweight aluminium stop tailpiece. I also added new knobs and a white selector switch knob and redid the wiring as it was quite the mess.
So this demo is using a cranked 5E3 circuit courtesy of Rift Amps and the volume is up at 10 with a Fryette Power Station PS2a controlling the room volume and I have an SM57 on the Deluxe's 12" speaker.
