Описание: Nepal-India News: The Supreme Court of Nepal has issued an interim stay on the collection of customs duties levied on daily-use goods—valued at over 100 rupees—brought across the Nepal-India border by ordinary citizens. This court order has brought significant relief to the people residing in the border regions of the Terai-Madhesh. On Friday, a joint bench comprising Supreme Court Justices Hari Prasad Phuyal and Tek Prasad Dhungana directed relevant bodies—including the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, as well as the Ministry of Finance—not to collect customs duties on daily-consumption items until a final verdict is delivered.

Nepal India News: नेपाल के सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने नेपाल-भारत सीमा से आम नागरिकों द्वारा लाए जाने वाले 100 रुपये (Nepal 100 Rupees Custom Rule) से अधिक मूल्य के दैनिक उपयोग के सामान पर लगाए गए कस्टम शुल्क (Custom Duty Nepal) की वसूली पर अंतरिम रोक लगा दी है। अदालत के इस आदेश से तराई-मधेश के सीमावर्ती इलाकों में रह रहे लोगों को बड़ी राहत मिली है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट के न्यायाधीश हरि प्रसाद फुयाल और टेक प्रसाद ढुंगाना की संयुक्त पीठ ने शुक्रवार को प्रधानमंत्री एवं मंत्रिपरिषद कार्यालय, वित्त मंत्रालय समेत संबंधित निकायों को निर्देश दिया कि अंतिम निर्णय आने तक दैनिक उपभोग की वस्तुओं पर सीमा शुल्क नहीं वसूला जाए।
