"History isn't just in books; it’s under our tires."
In this episode, I take my motorcycle back to the roots—heading toward the historic village of Chanda Singh. This isn't just a ride; it’s my first time revisiting these rural landscapes near the Sutlej River after the recent floods.
We start on the bustling, chaotic spine of Lahore—Ferozepur Road. I’ll share the history of this colonial-era highway and the story of two brothers, Chanda Singh and Ganda Singh, whose names still mark these border lands.
As we leave the urban "beautiful chaos" of the city behind, the world transforms into endless green fields, blue skies, and the purest air you can find in Punjab. It’s a journey of contrasts: the struggle of the city traffic versus the meditative peace of the rural riverbanks.
