Trains in 2007: SD40-2s, Warbonnets, and Meets at Rochelle Railroad Park

Описание: Welcome to the final episode of the Trains in 2007 series! In the Summer of 2007, Travis Vongrey spent a day around Rochelle, Illinois, home to the Rochelle Railroad Park. There he saw many trains on both BNSF and Union Pacific. A lot of these trains had SD40-2s in various paint schemes: Union Pacific, Burlington Northern, Santa Fe, and even Chicago & Northwestern. Some Union Pacific SD40-2s still retained their old C&NW gong bells, a thing you definitely don't see out on the mainline anymore. Some neat foreign power came through as well, including a CSX (ex-Conrail) C40-8W with an RS3L. Long (and often slow) coal trains passed by with various motive power, one sporting an SD90MAC leader! This is the last video of the series and also the most action packed.
