Описание: In a long interview with Eurohoops, coach Ettore Messina speaks about his coaching philosophy, his years in the NBA and most importantly the current state of the EuroLeague and European basketball.

Armani Milano's hed coach is concerned about the future of basketball, saying that "the most important thing is first of all, to try to find a solution and some kind of let’s say, common plan with FIBA and NBA". Explaining that "we missed a huge chance 15 years ago to become the development league of the NBA! I think that that was a mistake in envisioning the future"

He also talks about the upcoming Financial Fair Play in the EuroLeague, the possible confusion with the NBA salary cap and the enforcement of the new rule.

Coach Messina shares his experience as an assistant coach to Gregg Popovich in San Antonio and the "two very different kinds of leaderships in the NBA" he witnessed in the Spurs and the Lakers with Tim Duncan and Kobe Bryant, respectively.
