The leaking pipe was from an old out house that had been demolished many years ago. The pipe had been cut and then clamped together to stop the water, but had failed either recently or has been leaking for years.
The ground was excavated and the pipe was frozen to complete the repair.

Philmac Universal Transition Coupler 21-27mm -to 21-27mm
Plastic 22mm pipe with inserts.
Speedfit 22mm stop end.
