Cleaning up Gehenna, Jerusalem.

Описание: Thank you to the Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem for joining up with us and making a huge difference in Yerushalayim! Wow, what an insane past few weeks! We haven't seen anything like what's been going on with Corona. We pray that this virus and the chaos it has wreaked on the earth will come to a swift and complete end. We want to encourage you today with a video of our first official cleanup in Jerusalem. We were joined by the Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem to clean up a site that rests between Mt. Zion and Abu Tor. It is a well-known valley called Ben Hinnom a.k.a Gehenna a.k.a. Hell. Crazy right? We felt it was significant as this valley was a snare to our people in ancient times. Not just a snare but even our shame. This place has a tragic history of Molech worship. The "passing of one's child through the fire." Calamity was prophesied about this valley by Jeremiah the Prophet because of the darkness that was allowed to take place there. But final redemption was also prophesied about this place. If you were walking the beautiful paths that exist there now you could never imagine such horrors could have happened there, but they did. In a place that is famous for child sacrifice, you start to think, how is it possible anyone could ever do this? And then the crushing weight of abortion settles in. Abortion may not be sacrificing a child to Molech, but it is sacrificing a life. According to Be'ad Chaim Pro Life, statistics show that to-date more children have been aborted in Israel than the children that were murdered in the Holocaust. While we picked up trash in Gehenna, I couldn't help but think that all these children were thrown away like trash.

"For You formed my inward parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
