𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗡 𝗚𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗔
Preparation time 10 minutes
Cooking time 25-30 minutes
Serve 2-4
Ingredients
For Cooking Chicken
¼ cup Oil, तेल
1 tsp Cumin seeds, जीरा
1 large Onion (roughly sliced), प्याज
2 cups Curd (beaten), दही
1 heaped tsp Degi red chilli powder, देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर
½ tsp Turmeric powder, हल्दी पाउडर
2 tsp Coriander powder, धनिया पाउडर
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
1 tsp dry Fenugreek leaves (crushed), कसूरी मेथी
900 gms Chicken breast (cut into large cubes), चिकन
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
For Chicken Ghotala
2-3 tbsp Oil, तेल
½ tsp Cumin seeds, जीरा
½ inch Ginger (peeled & chopped), अदरक
4 large Onion (finely chopped), प्याज
5-6 no. Green chillies (less spicy & chopped), हरी मिर्च
1 heaped tbsp Ginger Garlic paste, अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट
1 heaped tbsp Coriander powder, धनिया पाउडर
½ tbsp Degi red chilli powder, देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर
1 tsp Turmeric powder, हल्दी पाउडर
½ cup Water, पानी
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
3 large Tomatoes (finely chopped), टमाटर
2-3 tbsp fresh Coriander leaves (finely chopped), धनिया पत्ता
¾ cup Water, पानी
Cooked chicken (mashed), पका हुआ चिकन
2 tbsp Ghee, घी
2-3 tbsp Fresh cream, ताज़ा मलाई
½ tbsp dry Fenugreek leaves (crushed), कसूरी मेथी
For Garnish
Green chilli (finely chopped), हरी मिर्च
Onion (finely chopped), प्याज
Lemon wedges, नींबू की फांक
Coriander sprig, धनिया पत्ता
Process
For Cooking Chicken
● In a handi, add oil, once it's hot, add cumin seeds, onion and cook it for 2-3 minutes until onions are translucent.
● Add curd, degi red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt to taste and cook it for a while until oil separates from the masala.
● Add dry fenugreek leaves, chicken, salt to taste and cook it for 10-12 minutes on medium flames until chicken gets cooked.
● Mash the chicken with the help of a masher and keep it aside for further use.
For Chicken Ghotala
● In a handi, add oil, once it's hot, add cumin seeds, ginger, onions, green chillies and cook until onion translucent..
● Add ginger garlic paste and mix it well.
● Add coriander powder, degi red chili powder, turmeric powder and cook it for a minute.
● Add water, salt to taste, tomatoes and let it cook for a while until tomatoes are mushy.
● Add fresh coriander leaves, water, cooked chicken and give it a quick boil.
● Finish it with ghee, fresh cream, crushed dry fenugreek leaves and give it a good mix.
● Transfer it to a serving dish, garnish it with green chilli, onion, lemon wedges and coriander sprig.
● Serve hot with ladi pav.
