This LIVE Apex Legends stream explores the Gundam Takeover event in real time. We’re dropping into the Broken Moon map to experience the full event, testing the new Wild Card abilities, checking out Gundam-themed weapons and gameplay mechanics, and exploring all map changes as they happen. Expect live gameplay, combat, exploration, and first impressions of everything added in the event.

The Gundam Takeover transforms Broken Moon into a battlefield with destroyed Mobile Suits across the terrain, climbable Wing Gundam statues, and ships battling overhead. Players can grab the Buster Rifle from Care Packages, fire laser beams that cut through cover, and use Gundam-themed weapons like the Kraber for aerial recon and combat.

Wild Card abilities featured in the event include:

Epyon’s Lash – magnetic melee pull Tactical ability

Heavyarms Salvo – marks enemies for air support missile strikes

Zero Sacrifice – self-destruct on knock, damaging nearby enemies

Zero Rebirth – enter the Void when knocked, returning with 1 HP and temporary invulnerability

Defensive options include:

Bit Staves to absorb damage

Drone Command to patrol, scan, and attack enemies

Gundam-inspired skins for 8 Legends: Alter (Gundam Epyon), Conduit (Gundam Aerial), Crypto (Freedom Gundam), Gibby (Xi Gundam), Mirage (Destiny Gundam Spec II), Octane (GQuuuuuux), Revenant (Gundam Deathscythe Hell), Valkyrie (Wing Gundam Zero). A Char Aznable-inspired Sparrow Skin is available in the Reward Shop.
