After 103 hours of guitar practice, I finally unlocked 16th note guitar playing and improved my guitar speed and improvisation. In this video, I share how I improved my guitar speed by practicing 16th notes inside real music instead of boring, repetitive speed drills.

This is Week 3 of my guitar improvement journey, practicing 5–6 hours a day, focused on guitar speed, finger coordination, alternate picking, and improvisation. My biggest issue was having musical ideas my fingers couldn’t keep up with, so I built my own guitar speed exercise over backing tracks.

By the end of the week, my guitar improv speed improved, my hands started keeping up, and practice finally felt musical.
