IMT Piling Rig - Best tool discharge unload ability
Many specialists from the Piling Industry debate between Spin-off Rotary Drive versus the Click-clack mechanism for discharging unloading the tool.
In reality, both methods are equally valuable and important in the piling industry. Hence the reason why IMT is offerring both methods for discharging the tool.
If we consider Time/Efficiency:
It takes a rig with a Rotary with Spin-Off function about 3 seconds to completely discharge the material from an Auger for medium dry strentgh material. Whereas a rig with click clack dscharge takes about 4 seconds.
Noise reduction:
Because of the constant banging of the Kelly Bar due to rotary going clockwise and anti-clockwise, the noise can be very upsetting, especially if you are planning to work on some high profile jobs. Whilst, the high rotation anti-clockwise Spin-off function allows for the material discharge with a lot less noise.
Long term wear and tear effects on the Parts of the rotary
Some German fans have argued there is a certain increase in the wear and tear due to this high rotation spin-off, while others have argued the opposite, that there is more wear and tear on the click-clack mechanism. Hopefully, we are here to shed some light on this: Neither of the two systems have any negative or otherwise effects even after very long periods of use.
In conclusion, considering the factors above, we strongly recommed having both methods on your piling machine.
