The tomb complex of Akbar is a vibrant, peaceful place at Sikandra, an outskirt of historical Agra city. It is composed of 3 distinguished monuments of which Akbar's tomb is main attraction to the tourists.Covering a large area of approximately 119 acres its' 4 squire shaped beautiful gardens occupy 25×4=100 acres land which are ornate with different flora and fauna specially peacock and monkey. Only 10-15 Km from busy Agra city this place is a heavenly arena for the true travellers.
Sikander Lodi was the founder of this complex and embodiment of Lodi Dynasty in Agra is situated within this complex in a dilapidated condition where apparently no tomb is present now.
Kanch Mahal, a Herem made by emperor Jahangir is another excellent work of medieval architecture.
