Make your Next.js API routes on Vercel faster using waitUntil()

Описание: Vercel introduced waitUntil() function in their Vercel SDK that works with their Edge Network. Using this function, you can extend the route's life after sending the response to do additional tasks such as logging. This ensures that the response is not blocked by a long running operation.

This is also good for webhooks where you can respond to a webhook service with 200 success first and then do the payload processing.
