LYRICS
Slip into my ecosystem
Convergence with no resistance
Symptoms worsen, tensions thicken
You bring blood, I’ll bring the serum

(Oh) Nothing like a little friction
(Oh) To discover what’s been missing

Wake in the night drowning in the white noise
Swallow this pain and you might learn to give it back harder and harder again
Baby, you’re living your life like you’re desperate to die
But never stepping too close to the edge
If you’re going over, put your hand in mine

The shapes you’re making, the way your colours run
You shift from fallen angel to spiral-eyed chameleon
You turn against me but get caught under my thumb, because
It starts when you think you’ve won
And ends when I say it does

Wake in the night drowning in the white noise
Swallow this pain and you might learn to give it back harder and harder again
Baby, you’re living your life like you’re desperate to die
But never stepping too close to the edge
If you’re going over
You’ll just be starting again, wake at the bottom to climb back out

Climb back out, into me

‘Cause you won’t go far without your saviour
And it’s grown too dark to see you suffer
Counting ten, nine, eight, seven seconds of a fall
Scream your chest hot, cut your knuckles on the walls
But there’s no labyrinth I haven’t mapped through
No hangman that I haven’t cut loose
Trust my tongue ‘cause you can’t afford the truth
Follow the blind, my sight’s on you, you, you

Slip into my ecosystem

Wake in the night drowning in the white noise
Swallow this pain and you might learn to give it back harder and harder again
Baby, you’re living your life like you’re desperate to die
But never stepping too close to the edge
If you’re going over (you’re living your life like you’re desperate to die)
You’ll just be starting again, wake at the bottom to climb back out
Climb back out
