After the Western Isles training arc, everyone is starting to promote while enemy quality begins to dip as most are unpromoted and their numbers aren't as frontloaded like in earlier chapters. They still have a few tricks to keep things difficult but this next portion is generally the easier part of the game.

Bartre, on paper, looks like he mogs Wolt since he has about double HP/Strength and can counter from close-range, but isn't that useful beyond baiting out Perceval. His low Skill and Bow rank make him worse for ranged combat as he can't use the better ones like Killer/Brave and is actually weaker when fighting fliers because of how weapon effectiveness works.

Wolt - 14 Str + [13 Mt(Silver Bow) x 3] = 53 Atk
Bartre - 22 Str + [9 Mt(Steel Bow) x 3] = 49 Atk

Perceval and Melady are the king and queen of Binding Blade, being the best units from here on with their high mobility and great stats only made better with Hard Mode Bonuses. But to give other units a chance to shine, Perceval will take the bench and Melady becomes another rescuebot alongside Shanna.
