Soccer is growing in America but that doesn't mean it always moves in a straight line. From year to year you'll see clubs and even leagues come and go. It can be hard to keep track of it all, but this video will cover all the bases of who is playing, where they are playing and how all of the pieces fit together.

In this video we'll look at the structure of the American soccer pyramid as it relates to professional club teams - both Men's and Women's. We'll talk about what the different leagues are, how they relate to each other and if teams are able to move from one league to another. We'll look at the American soccer calendar and whether or not everyone uses the same one. Then, we'll look closer into each league to see what they look like in 2025 as compared to 2024.

We dig through the following leagues:
Major League Soccer (MLS), National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), USL Super League (USLS), USL Championship (USLC), USL League One (USL1) and MLS Next Pro (MNP).
