This video will help desensitize your dog or puppy to the sounds of footsteps on a variety of surfaces. Some noises can be overstimulating, triggering, or scary for many dogs, so this video will help your dog learn that these sounds aren't scary or overwhelming. Keep at the desensitization training long enough, and your dog might even be able to stay calm around their trigger!

Play this video while your dog is enjoying something positive, like eating dinner, having a peanut butter lick mat, or playing with you or another dog. Start by playing the video at a low volume and gradually increase the volume over weeks or months depending on your dog’s individual sensitivity.
