THE COMPLETE PROCESS : Orchestrating an Expressive Piano Melody from Start to Finish

Описание: Sharing with you all the steps I go over when I'm orchestrating only using the notation software. I use here an emotionally complex piano melody I composed with in mind a movie scene, so this is very much destined for cinematic composers because I orchestrate while trying to be aligned with the emotional arc of the story! You’ll even see me do a huge gear shift towards the end of the video as we need to be reminded that as cinematic composers we are composing to support the image and the drama.
