CRYSTAL RIVER, FLORIDA 🌴🐊 Swimming w/ Manatee, Three Sisters Springs, Glow Kayaking, & Hiking!

Описание: We had the incredible opportunity a few weeks back to come down to Crystal River, Florida to swim with the Manatee's. This was a dream experience for us & something we've always wanted to do!

Our first day in Crystal River we arrived at our stay the Paddletail Waterfront Lodge. This stay is close to all the fun & food! We checked in & got ready for our first dinner at Bayside Craft Kitchen. A beautiful waterfront restaurant with incredible locally sourced options!

Our 2nd day in Crystal River we woke up early for our snorkeling adventure with Paddletail Waterfront Adventures. This was connected to our stay & was steps outside of our door. We immediately got fitted for our wetsuits, watched an instructional video & were on our way! It was truly such a great experience! We saw a few Manatee's, some baby Manatee's & the Three Sisters Springs was a beautiful site in itself. Highly recommend!

Once we got back to our place we grabbed lunch at Beens & Greens Coffee House, then made our way into town to check out all the shopping opportunities. Crystal River is a growing town, but has some great options for food, drinks & shopping within the downtown area. That evening we got dressed up for a special dinner at KATCH. One of our favorite meals in a long time!

Our 3rd day in Crystal River we woke up at had breakfast and coffee at Abound in downtown, then went to hike the trails at Three Sisters Springs Wildlife Refuge. It was great to have the chance to see the Manatee from a different perspective, but also to have the chance to see the crystal clear waters from above. There are also alligators in the area, but we didn't see those on this trip. We then made the short drive to Peck's Old Port Cove for lunch. This is beautiful restaurant is secluded & has incredible views of the channels. We loved the food & drinks we had there and really loved the views!

Next we made our way back to our stay to get ready for a glow kayaking adventure with Kacey's Custom Kayak Adventures. We had the opportunity to go on a Kayaking adventure at sunset to explore Three Sisters Springs, Kings Bay, and Hunter Springs. We were able to see a beautiful sunset, some Manatee, & see the glow of the clear waters with our kayaks. Can't recommend this enough! It was so fun & our guide Kyle was so knowledgeable about the wildlife!

Our final day in Crystal River we checked out of our stay and headed over to Cattle Dog Coffee Roasters for a late coffee & bite to eat. Then we made our way to Crystal River Preserve State Park to hike some of the trails where we saw more wildlife & untouched forestry. We then made our way back into town and hopped into King Bay Park, Hunter Springs Park, & ended our day at Dockside Ice Cream Shoppe for a sunset sweet treat.

We couldn't recommend this trip enough! Having the opportunity to see the Manatee was something we have dreamed up! This is the only place in the world you can swim with the Manatee & have the opportunity to see so many! We can't wait to make our way back to do it again!
