Backpacking the West Rim Trail and Angels Landing at Zion National Park

It's been nearly 8 months since we did this hike at Zion National Park but I finally came through with the video. What a great hike; the views of the canyon and then hiking Angels Landing, definitely one of my top hiking experiences.
We stayed the night at a hotel just outside of Springdale, UT so we could easily get into the park early for our 8:30 shuttle with Red Rock Shuttle from the Zion National Park Visitor Center to Lava Point Trailhead, where we would begin our overnight hike on the West Rim Trail. We camped at campsite 8 because it was one of our last options for a reservation, there are some first come first serve sites available on the trail but we didn't wan't to risk not getting a campsite. Had I planned sooner I would have liked to get a campsite further along the trail but it was still a great time.
Make sure if you do Zion West Rim Trail you apply for the Angels Landing lottery online and hopefully you'll be lucky like I was and win a permit. In my opinion Angel's Landing wasn't too scary.
