With the price drop in cattle in the Fall of 2016, I can finally starting my own beef herd. I just purchased 2 bred cows and 2 bottle feeders as a start. Learn more about my new farm adventures in this video.
Four years ago cattle were averaging $3+lb and now they are as low as $1.33 lb. So now is the time to act if you want in but keep in mind that only the farmers with low inputs will survive. I see grass fed as only way to do this.
