THIS Wasn’t Supposed to Break 😱 Luxifer SNAPS a BLOWER PULLEY at Summernats 38
A legend that needs no introduction, @LUXIFER_KYLE hit the pad at full-noise as the final skid to close out the Open Class Finals at Summernats 38 when something happened that none of us have seen before — the blower pulley/drive snapped off completely, instantly ending the run!
He had only been out for a short time, but still managed to destroy one tyre, and we reckon the second one wasn't far off either! Luckily, this was the last run leading up to the closeout of Day 4. I guess when you consider the thing held up to 4 days of solid punishment, it's not surprising it decided to pack it in and leave the chat!
Summernats is where people push their cars to the limit, testing them right to the edge of destruction, and in some cases, they find out exactly where that line is! Luxifer came to put on a show — even if the car had other plans, he still delivered!
