বিশ্বের বিভিন্ন দেশে যখনই কোন কোরআর প্রতিযোগিতা হয় সেখানেই থাকে বাংলাদেশের প্রতিনিধিত্ব। শুধু তাই নয়, সব দেশেকে পেছনে ফেলে ছিনিয়ে নিয়ে আসে শ্রেষ্টত্বের মুকুট। এবার আন্তর্জাতিক কোরআন প্রতিযোগিতার আয়োজন করছে মধ্যপ্রাচ্যের অন্যতম দেশ কুয়েত। এবার দেশটিতে আয়োজিত এই প্রতিযোগিতায় সুযোগ পেয়েছেন তিন বাংলাদেশি। বিশ্বের প্রায়ই ৭৪টি দেশের সঙ্গে বাংলাদেশের প্রতিনিধিত্ব করবেন বিশ্বজয়ী হাফেজ সালেহ আহমেদ তাকরিম, হাফেজ আনাস মাহফুজ এবং ক্বারি আবু যর গিফারী। বৃহস্পতিবার আন্তর্জাতিক এ কোরআন প্রতিযোগিতার উদ্বোধন হয়। কুয়েতের ক্রাউন প্লাজায় শুরু হওয়া প্রতিযোগিতা চলবে ২০ নভেম্বর পর্যন্ত। তিনটি ভিন্ন ভিন্ন গ্রুপে চলবে এ প্রতিযোগিতা।
