In this video I show you how to make one type of German Christmas cookies. They are called Vanillekipferl and they are super delicious. They are not overpowering in terms of the spices used and thus you can actually serve them throughout the whole year. Especially during the colder months, Vanillekipferl go great with any hot beverage.

Ingredients:
420g (3,5 cups) all purpose flour
315g (11 oz) butter
150g (5 oz) powdered sugar
15g (1 tbsp) vanilla sugar
75g (2,5 oz) crushed or milled hazelnuts
5 egg yolks
A pinch of salt
8g (1 tsp) cinnamon
