The Kenya Forest Service has kicked off an ambitious three year program to save the mangrove forest that has been adversely affected by human activity along the Kenyan coastline. The plan seeks to create another 40 percent of the country’s mangrove forest and has kicked off with the planting of 30-thousand propagules at the Jomvu area within the Mombasa creek.
