Top diplomat of the Chinese Communist Party (or CCP), warned the Biden administration not to cross Beijing’s “red line” in a half-hour speech on Feb. 1.
"They constitute a red line that must not be crossed," Yang declared, citing these issues concern "sentiments of [China's] 1.4 billion people."
Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken responded on Feb. 5 that the United States will stand up for human rights and democratic values.
