A collection of Christmas music on the harp wouldn't be complete without including one of the most rightfully famous carols, Silent Night. This particular arrangement was written by my grand-teacher (my harp teacher's teacher) Susann McDonald. While I never got to meet her, her arrangements will continue to be passed along to the next generation of harpists as my students learn them. There's something special about passing music along over the span of generations, and I think Franz Gruber would be pleased to know that his work is still such a beloved Christmas music tradition. ~ Eileen C.K.
