Bike Park Wales - Working from Kermit to Boomslang on our Europe Trip | Rented Trek Slash 9

Описание: My wife asked what one thing I really wanted to do on our Europe trip that took us from Edinburgh, Scotland to England to Norway. I chose Bike Park Wales.

I rented Trek Slash 9’s (Alloy) for my wife and I to check out the trails. Naturally, it started raining shortly after we got to BPW, but we both had a really good time checking out the trails. Bird had fun working on BPW’s green trail, Kermit. The trails was about 3 miles of flowy descending, which felt like a really long time down. There was a beautiful view that looked out over a valley that was totally worth it, especially with there being a rainbow waiting there for us.

I was lucky enough to find a couple gentleman that were nice enough to let me follow them down some trails as I worked from Green to Blue Flow, to Red Tech, to Boomslang, a Black Tech trail that was new and had been showcased by some big pro MTB riders like Jono Jones and Bernard Kerr.

The trail conditions were extremely muddy and slick in the loamy root sections, but the trail was sick. I think this trail would have been so much fun in a little better conditions and with a few more practice laps.

Overall, we both had a great time checking out BPW checking out trails, enjoying the coffee shop/cafe, meeting helpful staff, and other riders! I wish I had more time to check off more the the trails and features at this world rebound, iconic bike park.
