Fishing for Hard Fighting California Sheephead off the Coast of San Diego!

Описание: I was lucky enough to get back out to Southern California to fish with the one and only Glenn from ‪@sandog‬ Kayak Adventures! We set out for the kelp beds on this trip in search of California Sheephead, one of the most sought after coastal fish in the Pacific (it's said to taste like lobster!). Not to be confused with our East Coast "sheepshead", the California Sheephead is aggressive, can grow over 30lbs, are hemaphroditic (they change from female to male throughout their life), and are bright red and black! These are really cool and interesting fish and I had an absolute blast targeting them.

We caught our limits multiple times over using some funky, alien looking shrimp known as Ghost Shrimp for bait!
