CNC Converted Emco Maximat V 10 mill in operation.

Описание: I converted my Emco Maximat mill to cnc a while ago, and this is a video I took of a loco nameplate it produced. I had set the job up and then went out to do the shopping, coming back after a 2 1/2 hour interval to find the job almost complete.

I used a carbide V engraving cutter running at 1400 rpm, the best the V 10 head can do, using Viacad and Estlcam to produce the design and G - code to operate the CNC.

I have since fitted an Emco FB2 Milling Head and column (from a lathe) so can get 2200 rpm - still not fast enough, but the swarf still makes a mess!
