Last week I have visited the most beautifull Devkund Waterfall which is located in Raigad District of Maharashtra, India. Devkund Waterfall is a tributary to Kundalika River. Bhira is the base village of Devkund Waterfall which is about 130km and 110km from Mumbai and Pune respectively. Devkund Waterfall is one of the popular tourist destinations near Mumbai and Pune. Devkund waterfall is the origin of the Kundalika River. Devkund waterfall is a plunge type waterfall. Devkund waterfall get’s water from many small water stream from the Tamhini Ghat region.
This place considered as Holy river and local people keep this place clean.
