My DeLonghi espresso machine would stop making espresso sometimes, especially if I ground the coffee pretty fine. So I decided to try replacing the pump instead of buying a new machine. The pump cost about $27, and it turned out to be a pretty easy job. Just a few simple tools needed. After replacing the pump, it is back to making perfect espressos. I'll update this if it stops working again. I'm hoping it's worth replacing the pump rather than the entire machine, but only time will tell. I hope this video helps.
