Righteous Sound Pickups RAF-2 Humbuckers

Описание: The Righteous Sound RAF-2 is Joshua's new exploration of classic PAF tones. The original RAF have that bright, clear, monster Tele sound that a lot of people look for in a Patent Applied For tones. Most notably, they are rather special to me because of the three dimensional characteristics I have heard from them when they are installed in any of my guitars. The RAF-2 extends on those characteristics, with some added mid-range punch. The difference is subtle, but intentionally so. The magnet choices are somewhat unconventional compared to what most of us seek out in our PAF clones these days. RSP chose an AlNiCo 3 for the neck at 7.0k and an unoriented AlNiCo 5 for the bridge at 7.9k. They are extremely dynamic to the pick attack. So much so that I just left the overdrive on through the entire video and used the guitar volumes and dynamics in the right hand to get the clean vs dirty sounds.

I played with Muleskinner 17 watt tweed, set to barely breaking up, and the V1 hand-wired Paul C. Tim set to boost the amp into drive at a slightly lower volume. G12-H30 speaker, mic'd with a Sennheiser 609. Reverb from Logic. The rest is the guitar and its controls. Enjoy the video. Thanks for watching.
