PSU Privatisation: Indian government plans to sell shares of government companies

Yashwant Sinha, Finance Minister speaks about the selling of shares. He says, "A lot of preparatory work has to be done before the actual investment takes place. We will start doing that work so that we are ready as soon as possible with our proposals but in any case, it is likely to take a little time it is not going to happen tomorrow."

The government has decided sell out 6.74% share of Madras Fertilizers, 5% of MTNL and Indian Oil, 49% of Hindustan Latex, 74% of ITDC and 100% of Central Electronics Limited.
