A brief extract from "Maria, Mirabela", an animated film jointly produced by Romanian and Soviet movie studios in the 80's. The original version was made in Romanian language, and it was dubbed for USSR. Exceptional film made during the so called Golden Age, a Romanian period under communism that mixed brilliant works like this and pure darkness with horrible facts.
The story is based in a work of the 19th century Romanian writer Ion Creanga.
Music by Eugen Doga.
