After weeks of relentless rain and flooding across the Pacific Northwest, I’m taking you back to a very different day. 🌞
This hike was filmed in July on Goat Ridge near Chilliwack—one of the most challenging and rewarding hikes I’ve done this year.
The climb is relentless, with steep grades and a few rope-assisted sections that really make you earn the views. And the payoff? Some of the most stunning alpine scenery I’ve seen—wide open ridgelines, dramatic peaks, and that unmistakable summer glow.
Consider this a throwback to sunnier days, blue skies, and dry trails. I hope this hike brings a bit of warmth and inspiration, especially if you’re watching while the rain is pouring outside.
