BIKE WEIGHT: ALLOY VS CARBON

Описание: I felt my Giant Avail Advanced carbon bike weighed more than my cheap entry level Giant Avail alloy.

So I put them to the test.

Remember though that the carbon does have disc brakes so they are going to be heavier than the wheels on the alloy bike.

But this is the bike as a whole and I have made it as fair as possible (apart from the wheels).

They have the same cassette, group set, bottle cages, and tyres. Everything is the same.

I was really surprised at the results.
