This journey moves slowly through Miyagi Prefecture

Starting the day with coffee and ramen at Shiogama Fish Wholesale Market (塩釜水産物仲卸市場), surrounded by quiet routines and familiar rhythms. From there, the coastline opens up at Matsushima Umanose, where the land meets the sea without explanation.
A night at Hotel Sohkan (大江戸温泉物語Premium ホテル壮観), letting the view and the onsen do what words don’t need to.
In Kesennuma, I stop briefly at the Phoenix Batting Center, a small, human moment tucked into the landscape.
The journey deepens at Earthquake Heritage Arahama Elementary School (震災遺構 仙台市立荒浜小学校)—a place that remains so we don’t forget.
Later, I visit the Kirin Factory, then end the day quietly at Sendai Umino-Mori Aquarium, where life continues in its own steady rhythm.
