The Sea Ray 335 Sundancer is a top quality US Sports Cruiser with fantastic sea keeping abilities and spacious accommodation for your family. This 2005 model has a great European-friendly spec including twin Volvo KAD300 Diesel Sterndrives, Diesel Gen Set, Air Conditioning with Reverse Cycle Heating, and a full suite of Raymarine Electronics. The Sea Ray 335 is an excellent step up from a smaller cruiser and this boats extensive specification means that you can really extend your cruising horizons.

This boat boasts Sea Ray’s typical high build quality with all fixtures and fittings both above and below decks solid and secure. There are no squeaks or rattles underway. A combination of the hull’s 21° transom deadrise, sharp entry point and solid build means that this boat runs really well in rough water with a smooth ride and a safe feeling; so you can be sure of getting home after a weekend away, even if the weather turns against you. The twin 285HP engines power the boat effortlessly on to the plane and give her a great turn of speed, touching almost 40mph on the day of our video shoot. The helm position is comfortable and well laid out. The Volvo EDC controls are super light and precise and with keen handling from the deep-vee hull this boat is great fun to drive.

The high spec means that this boat is packed with equipment in the engine room and you’ll be glad of the sensible layout and top notch engineering installation. When it comes to mechanical gear, this boat is built to last and service access is good.

With a spacious, open play layout below decks and the benefit of a saloon style aft cabin layout, this boat is very well suited to spending extended time on the water with family and friends. Even with 2 or 3 people moving around the cabin it doesn’t feel crowded. The headroom throughout the cabin is excellent and with lots of natural light it is a pleasant place to spend time. When you’re preparing meals on board you’ll appreciate the large galley with bags of storage and the wide cabin floor that means you can work at the galley uninterrupted by passing crew! With 2 large double berths in the forward and aft cabin areas there is enough space for even the biggest crew members to get a great night’s sleep.

This boat is in great condition throughout and with 204hrs on the clock she has seen only light use. All the equipment on board is working as it should and the boat is sure to provide years of trouble free use. She will benefit from an engine and gen set service at the beginning of the 2012 season, but our inspection showed the mechanical equipment to be in very good condition. The engine’s started easily on the day of our video shoot and the boat performed impeccably well on the open water and around the dock.
